It’s been about a couple of years since a few of the most impressive and talented group of Miami based artists collectively decided to together to form a super Latino group design to aggressively reconquer the entertainment industry. They called themselves Tabaqueros; individually Tabaqueros have been nominees of both the Grammy and Latin Grammy, they have received numerous awards, have charted on billboard.

Tawe (Locos Por Juana) Yeyo (The D.E.Y.) DJ Napoles (Aventura), Jan (Prince Royce) and the Miami underground champ Salazar have each played key roles in the development of Spanish and bilingual alternative music in the US. In November of 2013 they released their first two music video as a way to test out the waters. The videos both receiving massive positive feedback. Both the musical and video production are of very high quality and could easily compete with the biggest names of America’s pop culture.

Fast forward to 2015 and they Tabaqueros are no longer testing out the waters. They say that the Third time’s the charm. They are setting to go full force with their biggest song and music video yet. The single is called “Fuego y Sol” and will soon be hitting us posted Yeyo as his Facebook status as he posted a 60 seconds teaser. After watching the teaser a few times I must say that not only am I excited, but realize that the Latin game needs a artist or a group to take Latin Hip Hop back to the mainstream without it just being rap verses over a house or dance beats.
