[Spanish Rock] Flying Bananas Release “Cligh Hass” Album
Flying Bananas is a Bogota, Colombia based Spanish Rock band that has been been keeping busy over the last few years. They have just recently released their debut full length album. They are crazy-ass, funny Colombian band that incorporates old school rap and punk into their sound. The Flying Bananas puts together an explosive blend of turntable scratches, think bass lines.
The band chanted lyrics of anti-authority are aggressive, fresh, and exciting. theme on songs like “We Got The Power” is an anthem for disenfranchised people everywhere. In fact, their style reminds me a lot of Molotov’s early days. That Fun, in your face political attitude.
The Flying Bananas have toured Colombia and have played on some of the biggest, most important music festivals such as Rock Al Parque opening up for bands like Metallica and Slipknot among others.
The Flying Bananas have just recently released their full length “Cligh Hass” and I must say, I defiantly think you should checkout the album. The album is downloadable on the band’s website. Last week before my trip to Las Vegas for the Latin Grammy I was having an online conversation with one of the members of band. During that chat I ask them question, why is the band named Flying Bananas? He just replied with the YouTube video below.
