[Dance / Pop] The Voice Alumni Monique Returns with The “Bajo El Sol” Music Video And a Spicy Latin Remix.
Since the release of the original version of her single “Bajo el Sol” back in February The Voice breakout star Monique Abbadie has been plenty busy. It was just last month that the nationwide search for “Miss ChocoVine” ended, crowning Monique and thus becoming the rising brand’s first ambassador.
Then last week Monique released a hot, spicy Latin Remix of “Bajo El Sol” on iTunes which was originally released on iTunes. For those of you that are yet unfamiliar with Monique’s “Bajo el Sol” let me bring you up to speed. The first thing I’d point out is that although both the title and the hook are in Spanish, the song it’s self is in English and I could not necessarily categorize it as Latin song. The song is actually a dance-pop song, but could it can easily be crossed over to the Spanish-speaking market.
The song celebrates the summer lifestyle and instantly bring to mind, fun, sand, good weather and driving with the top down. In other words Summer would just not be summer without the right soundtracks to help create that fun in the sun summer vibe and “Bajo el Sol” should be on your summer music playlist this summer. Now add a Latin Remix that takes it’s unique twos with a Cuban style Salsa breakdown, paying tribute the great Salsa legends.
This week Monique has released the music video to the original version of the song, which is visually every bit as fun as the song it’s self.
