October 6, 2014  //  By:   //  Dance, Music  //  No Comment   //   835 Views

Luis Damon has recently released a new Spanish language single entitled “Todo De Mi”; which is an excellent song. However, the nice surprise that he posted some previously unreleased dance tracks. These songs are surely to make his long time Freestyle fans happy. As Luis himself said when he posted the links on Facebook, “It has all the elements lyrically and melodically, only difference is the style of music itself.”

If you’re not too familiar with who Luis Damon is. He was born and raised in the city of New York. He exposed to music scene In 1993 when he recorded his first ever single, the now Freestyle classic “Should Have Never Let You Go”. Then in 1995 he followed up with another classic “Time and Time Again” released on Fever Records. Shortly thereafter, Luis was performing throughout the country, sharing the bill with such artists as George Lamond, Lisette Melendez, Cynthia, and The Cover Girls. Seeking to bridge the gap between Dance music and the Latin music he grew up listening to, Luis signed with WEA Latina in 1996 and recorded his first Spanish language album.

Luis has never stopped to create music, since his teen years he has been non-stop at work. Throughout his professorial  as songwriter and performer he has collaborated with such artists and producers like Chris Barbosa, Olga Tañon , Obie Bermudez, Javier Montes, Frankie Negron and Guadalupe Garcia. Although he has never returned to record a freestyle song, it’s influence is deeply rooted in Luis’s style. He continues to record and release Pop Latin, Tropical, and dance music genres, both English and Spanish.  So be sure to stop by his sites and check out his music.
