THE LATINO COMICS EXPO or LCX is a comics convention dedicated to showcasing Latino creators and Latino-themed works. The event is taking place Oct 11th – 12th in San Jose, CA.

The Latino Comic Expo was created a means to gather a variety of cartoonists, writers, illustrators and other creative individuals of Latino descent, or works exploring various aspects of Latino culture.  It give the opportunity to share the Latino American experience through the diversity of the artists and their works through the American art forms of comics and animation.

The Latino Comics Expo believes that comics can serve as a bridge to literacy, as well as also in promoting the Museum experience to young people & the under-served communities. The event includes two days of programming, featuring panels, workshops and interviews with the attending artists. LatinoRemix will continue to bring you information up until the day of the event with the latest 411 about the special guests, exhibiting creators, panels, workshops and yet to be announced programming schedules.
