Hip Hop trickled into Latin America a long time ago, changing the Latin music scene forever. One of the pioneer of Mexican hip-hop is the rapper Simplee, founding members the most successful independent rap groups to date, Caballeros del Plan G.

Caballeros del Plan G is the only indie rap group in Mexico that can perform a full hour set with nothing, but underground hits that are now also considered Spanish Hip Hop classics. The group line up is made up of DJ Jonta, Indho Metodo, Serko Fu, Toxikon and Simplee.

Today Simplee released a shout out video via his YouTube channel in which he sends a shout out to all the Caballeros / G lokos longtime fans, as well as give a shout out to his crew members Indho, Sekreto, Jero Tovar and Serko Fu.  This is not a music video, but more of a Freestyle type video  in which Simplee shows off one of iconic hills of Gomez Palacio, Durango known as El Cerro de Pancho Villa.  This very same hill witnessed long and cruel battles during the Mexican Revolution and it is estimated that five thousand Mexicans lost their lives on this hill about. In this the same city Villa invented the night attack.

Simplee’s video is titled “16 Barras” and is not to be confused with the solo original cut by another Caballero MC, Serko Fu. The video is lots of fun to watch, enjoy.
