[Hip Hop En Español] Hispana Unveils Mad Max: Fury Road Inspired Music Video for “Rap Game”
November 25, 2015  //  By:   //  Music, Spanish Hip Hop  //  No Comment   //   541 Views

Six months after its single release, Hispana finally shows sighs of music video to accompany her lead single “Rap Game” which was originally released back in May. The song is taken from her album “Mudando De Piel”

The video’s teaser was released yesterday afternoon via the social media sites. Despite it’s up coming winter release, the video has all the markings of a summer smash hit. The video pays homage to this summer’s hollywood blockbuster film Mad Max: Fury Road. This is actually a very interesting comparison to the current state of the rap game. Fury Road takes place years after the collapse of civilization and in many ways we’re living in a would where rap music is said to have collapsed. Today you either have rappers that say words that don’t make any sense or you have rappers who are full of rhymes and punchlines, but cannot make a actual song.

So in the rap desert wasteland where actual songs are a scarce commodity Hispana brings a sense of Max Rockatansky to the Rap Game. What sets Hispana apart from most other rappers that are out right now is that she understands how to make a song. She can transmit an emotions such as rage or love all the same. She is clear and easy to understand. Her rhymes are simple and yet highly intelligent. La Mamba Negra is the perfect example of where you do not need to have to be an amazing lyricists or have the most complex flows, do make the best rap songs.

According to the teaser the video will officially hit Hispana’s YouTube channel on December 5th at 5:00 pm. I am assuming that would be 5:00 pm Central Standard Time, because of where Hispana lives, but the time zone is not made clear on the teaser.
