[Comic Book] There Will Be No Latino Comics Expo 2015
It seems like there will be no Latino Comic Expo this year. It was announced earlier this week via the Expo’s official Facebook page. The reason for skipping this year is that due to scheduling issues and logistics, we’ve had to reluctantly postpone a Latino Comics Expo for 2015. Ricardo Padilla and Javier Hernandez are committed to bringing the Expo back in 2016, and with the support of fans.
Comics are a popular American art form and Latino comic books are important. The 2014 Latino Comics Expo was the first time I visited the Expo. The experience was great, it puts a different experiences for both the fans and exhibitor. I saw sad to hear that there would be no expo this year. But that doesn’t mean that there will be nothing going on in 2015.
The Latino Comic Expo announced that they are co-sponsoring this year’s inaugural Sõl-Con. This will be the first ever Brown & Black Comics Expo! This historic event It’s being organized by the folks over at Ohio State University, the Billy Ireland Museum and the Cartoon Crossroads Columbus, among others. Please support this historic show. Sõl-Con 2015 is happening between October 2nd through 4th.
